Just before Diwali, strike in banks may affect the functioning in banks. The strike has been announced on 22 October to protest against the merger of 10 banks. The strike called on behalf of the All India Bank Employees Union and the Indian Bank Employees Federation has also been supported by the Indian Trade Union Congress

दिवाली से ठीक पहले बैंकों में हड़ताल से कामकाज प्रभावित हो सकता है। 10 बैंकों के विलय के विरोध में 22 अक्टूबर को हड़ताल की घोषणा की गई है। अखिल भारतीय बैंक कर्मचारी संघ और भारतीय बैंक कर्मचारी परिसंघ की तरफ से बुलाई गई हड़ताल को भारतीय ट्रेड यूनियन कांग्रेस यानि की एटक) ने भी समर्थन दिया है।
