A fire broke out in a pantograph mounted on a compartment of a local train going to Panvel from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal at Navi Mumbai station. While giving this information, Central Railway officials said that no casualties were reported in the accident. It is being told that the train was short-circuited first and then spread rapidly. This train was going towards Panvel.

नवी मुंबई स्टेशन पर छत्रपति शिवाजी टर्मिनल से पनवेल जाने वाली लोकल ट्रेन के एक डिब्बे के ऊपर लगे पेंटोग्राफ में बुधवार को सुबह आग लग गई। हालांकि केंद्रीय रेलवे के अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि हादसे में कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ। बताया जा रहा है कि ट्रेन में पहले शॉर्ट सक्रिट हुआ और फिर तेजी से आग फैल गई। यह ट्रेन पनवेल की तरफ जा रही थी।
