Klosz and her team analyzed 35 types of nondairy milks, including almond, coconut, oat and soy.

The team gave each milk a score based on
its nutritional value, flavor and texture.

They also compared the vitamins and minerals in each nondairy milk to a serving of cow's milk.

Those looking for a milk that's similar to cows milk should know that they do vary quite a bit, as far as the protein is concerned, because cow's milk has high amounts of protein, Ellen Klosz, via 'TODAY'

Unsweetened Silk Organic Soy Milk ranked the highest overall of the milks that were analyzed.

Its nutrition was rated "very good," and its texture was "excellent."
