Congress leader and son of former union minister P Chidambaram, Karti Chidambaram met his father at Tihar jail on September 26.
While speaking to media persons, Karti said, “We've repeatedly said it's nothing but vendetta politics. Targeting leaders, who articulate, vehemently oppose this government and crucial to infrastructure of Congress, selectively with bogus cases. My father and DK Shivakumar are not undergoing any trial, they haven't been found guilty by any court. Only under pretext of investigation, they are being held in judicial custody. This is creating a very toxic and negative atmosphere for the polity of this country.”
