Speaking on Opposition MPs march to ED office over Adani row, Congress leader Karti P Chidambaram on March 15 alleged that agencies particularly Enforcement Directorate (ED) are preferred hatchet agencies of the central government. “These agencies particularly ED are preferred hatchet agencies of the government. It’s not a professional non-partisan independent agency. It has been used only to browbeat opposition leaders. You are seeing what they have been doing in the last few weeks in great intensity. I know this better than anybody else,” said Congress leader Karti P Chidambaram.
