The 4th edition of indigenous women in Africa

Organizations championing to amplify voices and status of indigenous women are now calling on regional governments to implement advocacy policies that promote inclusion and empowerment of indigenous groups. Speaking during the ongoing 4th edition of indigenous women in Africa, conveners of the forum said that such communities have often been left out during drafting of key government policies that bear direct impact on their lives.
