Shocking moment circus tiger escapes cage during performance in China's Yuanyang

A circus tiger escaped its cage during a performance in central China's Yuanyang county in Henan province on September 6.
The video shows the tiger climbing up the cage and jumping out during a performance.
The trainers used sticks to hit the tiger to try to stop it but failed. A woman can be heard saying:" Run quickly! Run quickly!"
Police officers were sent on-site, drones and thermal imaging technology equipment were used to search for the runaway tiger.
The tiger was found injured from a car crash and later died from these injuries whilst being transported to a zoo.
The person who was in charge of the circus was arrested by police.
