వెస్టిండిస్ పర్యటనలో కేఎల్ రాహుల్ ప్రదర్శన పూర్తిగా నిరాశపరిచింది. నెలరోజుల పాటు సుదీర్ఘ పర్యటనలో కేఎల్ రాహుల్ ఒక్క హాఫ్ సెంచరీ కూడా సాధించలేకపోవడం విశేషం. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కేఎల్ రాహుల్ ఫామ్‌పై మాజీ క్రికెటర్ వీవీఎస్ లక్ష్మణ్ ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశాడు.
టైమ్స్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాకు ఇచ్చిన ఇంటర్యూలో వీవీఎస్ లక్ష్మణ్ మాట్లాడుతూ "కేఎల్ రాహుల్ ఫామ్‌పై ఆందోళనగా ఉంది. అతని సామర్థ్యాన్ని ప్రశ్నించాల్సిన పనిలేదు. టెస్ట్ క్రికెట్‌కు కొత్తవాడు కాదు. ఇప్పటికే టెస్టుల్లో అనేక అవకాశాలను పొందాడు. అయినా సరే అతడు వరుసగా విఫలమవుతున్నాడు" అని అన్నాడు.
