US-based non-profit group All Hands Volunteers is helping to build a permanent school in Yolanda-hit western Leyte. Representatives of the international disaster response organization said they are coordinating with San Miguel Foundation for the construction and management of the school. The group also helped build 60 transitional shelters in northern Tacloban last month in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, which will benefit some 400 residents displaced by typhoon Yolanda. The All Hands Volunteers said 200 more shelters will be built to house typhoon survivors. ANC Dateline Philippines, May 3, 2014
