Man marks 104th birthday with 100-meter sprint

At 104-years-old, Stanislaw Kowalski may not be a direct rival to Usain Bolt but he's still a record holder when it comes to the 100 meters. The centenarian sprinter has become the quickest European aged more than 100 to complete the distance after a race in his native Poland this past weekend. He was aiming for the world record, but was nearly three seconds outside it. The official world record still belongs to a Japanese citizen. Kowalski has three daughters, ten grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. - ANC Dateline Philippines, May 14, 2014
