Kris dedicates 'Separate Lives' to Herbert

MANILA -- Although she had promised not to talk about Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, actress host Kris Aquino on Monday offered a parting shot to the actor-turned-politician. Bautista decided to stop pursuing Aquino before the Holy Week break, the source earlier told ABS-CBN News, only a week after the actress confirmed on live television that they were indeed dating, as rumored in the previous month. (http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/entertainment/04/23/14/why-herbert-stopped-dating-kris) In her morning show "KrisTV" on Monday, Aquino dedicated all the songs performed on the show to Bautista, which included U2's "With or Without You" and Nina's "I Don't Want To Be Your Friend." "In the interest of clarity, nag-text ako at sinabi ko, 'This is your playlist. Pasensiya ka na pagbigyan mo na last na ito. We will never gonna talk about you again for the rest of our lives,'" Aquino said. "Hindi man ako makapagsalita, ito lahat ang nilalaman ng puso ko at alam mo naman ito. So 'yung next na song, ito talaga 'yon," added Aquino, as she introduced the Phil Collins hit "Separate Lives" performed by "The Voice of the Philippines" finalists Radha Cuadrado and Thor Dulay. "Lahat naman ng tao may karapatan na magkaroon ng pag-asa. I'm not saying in this particular instance pero ...all of you must have gone through somebody you loved na if given a chance... Nabasa ko ito kagabi, 'If you could have a second chance to meet somebody all over again, who would it be?'" Aquino said. Co-host Carmina Villariel then threw the question back at Aquino, who replied: "Ayaw ko sagutin. Lalaki ang ulo." Just last week, after reports surfaced that Bautista had stopped pursuing her, Aquino said she shouldn't talk about the actor-politician if they want to remain friends.
