Kenya’s bid for UN Security Council seat gets boost as new envoys promise support

11 more countries have committed to support Kenya’s bid for one of the non-permanent seats on the United Nations Security Council. Speaking at state house when they presented their credentials to president Uhuru Kenyatta, 11 envoys among them United Kingdom high commissioner Jane Marriot pledged to support Kenya’s candidature for the seat.
