MMDA provides two new bike lanes along EDSA
  • 5 years ago
MANILA – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has introduced two more bicycle lanes in Metro Manila under the "bike-kadahan" program. The first new bike lane will be from Ortigas to Santolan along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound lane, while the second one will be from White Plains to Temple Drive, also along EDSA. The MMDA earlier opened bike lanes along Commonwealth Avenue, Marcos Highway, Remedios Circle, and EDSA-Ayala. Under the "bike-kadahan" scheme, interested riders may use bicycles provided by the MMDA for free. They just have to present a valid identification card in exchange for a card indicating the bike number. This card should be surrendered at the exit area where the bike will be returned. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 26 March 2014
