MANILA – A fire razed about P3 million worth of property in Manila before dawn on Tuesday. Senior Inspector Trossip Cante of the Manila Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire erupted past 2 a.m. at the house of Manuel Reyes, reportedly a former producer and owner of a race track in Sta. Ana. The fire, which reached fifth alarm, was declared out around 2:50 a.m. Fire investigators said a pile of combustible materials being burned triggered the blaze. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 18 February 2014
