Some Black Nazarene devotees are trying to push 40-footer container vans blocking the road leading to the MacArthur Bridge. According to ABS-CBN News reporter Doris Bigornia, some devotees said the container vans, which were placed there by the police, could just cause injuries to them in case it topples over due to the huge volume of people fighting their way to get near the image of the Black Nazarene. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) did not allow devotees to use the MacArthur Bridge in the annual procession due to concerns over its stability.
