Impassable roads and bridges are hampering relief efforts in flood-hit Davao Oriental, Governor Corazon Malanyaon said. Speaking to ANC, Malanyaon said the provincial government has enough relief goods, but rescue personnel are not able to reach the affected residents due to accessibility problems. NDRRMC spokesperson Reynaldo Balido said seven people died in Davao Oriental, six of whom were killed in a landslide incident in Barangay Tanggol in Tarragona town.
