MANILA - A woman has been arrested at Pasig Mega Market for allegedly conniving with other Salisi gang members to steal a cellphone from a stall vendor. Stall vendor Christy Barnachea said suspect Jacquelun Solis was accompanied by another woman, a man and a child when they went to her stall to allegedly look at clothes. She said Solis and the other woman tried on dresses to distract the salesladies while the man stole a cellphone that was still being charged. Solis was apprehended after the theft was discovered but the three others escaped. Solis admitted that her cousin stole the cellphone. Aris Angeles, Pasig Mega Market Special Operations Group member, said Solis gave them conflicting stories on who stole the cellphone. Barnachea said she will not press charges against Solis if she returns the phone or pays for it. Otherwise, she said Solis may spend Christmas in jail. ABS-CBN UMAGANG KAY GANDA, Dcember 24, 2013
