Israel to continue assisting PH recover from 'Yolanda'

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have wrapped up their two-week mission to the Philippines. The IDF set up a field hospital in Bogo City in Cebu where they were able to serve almost 2,000 patients. The IDF said although they are leaving, the hospital will continue to operate for six more weeks. Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Menashe Bar On also shared their long-term plans for assisting the Philippines. The IDF officials also said that amid the devastation caused by Yolanda, they could not help but be impressed by the attitudes of local officials and the Filipino people.
