The Philippine Air Force on Tuesday said the situation in Villamor Airbase and Tacloban Airport is improving, with more survivors of super typhoon "Yolanda" being flown out of the devastated city everyday. PAF spokesperson Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol said the Philippines and the United States provide 6 to 7 flights from Tacloban City everyday. Okol said a PAF flight can carry up to 140 passengers, while a US plane can carry up to 80. Okol said injured or disabled survivors, the elderly and children are being prioritized. The flights land in PAF's home Villamor Airbase, while some depart for Cebu. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 19 November 2013
