Pacers beat Magic in NBA opener

MANILA, Philippines – The NBA is back and the Indiana Pacers kicked off their season in style. Paul George scored 24 points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots to lead the Pacers to a 97-87 victory over the Orlando Magic. Teammate Roy Hibbert added eight points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks. It was a slow start for Indiana, but in the second half, the Pacers gained control of the game as they began on offensive onslaught from which the Magic would never recover. -- Mornings @ ANC, October 30, 2013.
