PNP on full alert for barangay polls, Undas

MANILA -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now on full alert as their preparations for Monday's barangay polls continue. Around 3,000 cops are already being deployed to monitor election activities in different barangays. PNP spokesperson Reuben Theodore Sindac said they are keeping a close eye on the 6,195 barangays declared as areas of concern. A total of 42,028 barangays will participate in the elections on Monday. Meanwhile, Sindac said the PNP is also preparing for All Saints' Day, which falls on the same week. -- ANC
