MANILA – Volunteers and dresidents displaced by the ongoing standoff in Zamboanga City are helping each other provide the needs of affected residents. Since the siege began last week, ABS-CBN's Sagip Kapamilya has already helped an estimated 8,000 residents displaced by the gunfight between government forces and followers of Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari. The volunteers were mostly tasked to cook decent food and distribute them to affected residents. The city's crisis management committee said some 72,000 residents have been displaced by the crisis. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 17 September 2013
