Fil-Am linked to Zambo siege nabbed

MANILA - A Filipino-American is now under the custody of the Cagayan de Oro Criminal Investigation and Detection Group after being arrested for his involvement in the siege of Zamboanga City last September. Daniel Xavier was nabbed in a bus terminal just before dawn. Authorities seized from him an ID that identifies him as Salajudin Ibrahim Jafram. Xavier is among the respondents in charges filed before the Zamboanga City regional trial court for rebellion and violating the International Humanitarian Law. Police said Xavier also has pending criminal cases prior to the siege. ANC Dateline Philippines, November 27, 2013
