PNoy stays in Zamboanga as siege continues

MANILA -- Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda on Tuesday confirmed the President is still in Zamboanga City as the standoff between government troops and the Moro National Liberation Front-Misuari faction continues. Lacierda said Aquino's presence in the area serves as an inspiration to people on the ground. He assured work in the government will not be hampered by his absence. ANC News Now, September 17, 2013
