The Quint: Furore Over Russian Contacts Forces Trump’s NSA to Resign

US National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has resigned and Keith Kellogg has been named an interim replacement according to White House officials.
He resigned after reports emerged that he misled Trump administration officials about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the US.
Trump was evaluating the situation surrounding Flynn. On Monday, his advisor Kellyanne Conway said that Flynn had the full confidence and support of the President.
Flynn's departure less than one month into the Trump administration marks an extraordinarily early shakeup in the president's senior team of advisers.
