recently made several posts on social media
in support of Hong Kong’s police force. .

The tweets are in reference to the massive amount
of protestors in the city who have been gathering
in opposition of mainland China since March. .
The hashtag “#BoycottMulan” emerged
hours after her posts, with many accusing
Yifei of supporting a “suppressive regime.” .
The hashtag spent time trending in both
Hong Kong and the United States, with
over 37,000 tweets and climbing.
Representatives for Disney have
yet to comment on the situation.
