Djokovic clinches Serbia win in Davis Cup
  • 5 years ago
MANILA, Philippines – Novak Djokovic overcame a twisted ankle in the first set, then routed Sam Querrey to give Serbia an insurmountable 3-1 lead against the United States in its Davis Cup quarterfinals tie. Top-ranked Djokovic needed two-and-a-half hours to beat Querrey, rallying as he became more comfortable on his injured leg. Serbia, the 2010 Davis Cup champion, will next play the winner of the Canada-Italy in September’s semi-finals. -- Mornings @ ANC, April 8, 2013
