Police fired tear gas at protesters still on the streets in Hong Kong.
A rally against a China extradition bill -- now suspended but which protesters fear could be revived -- drew tens of thousands of protesters earlier in the day.
Some protesters remained on the streets after the main rally ended.
As well as their opposition to the extradition deal, many protesters are also demanding greater democracy for Hong Kong.
