How to Install GIMP on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

What is GIMP?

It is a Free and Open Source Image Editing Application.

First, right click on the desktop. After that, click on 'open terminal,' and then Follow the steps below:-


Step 1: Add PPA

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp


Step 2: Update Repository

sudo apt update

Step 3: Install GIMP

sudo apt install gimp


In order to open then Gimp, Click on 'show applications' at the bottom left. Do a search for Gimp. After that, click on it to open it.
