New Criminal Charges Land
R. Kelly Back in Jail The arrest comes after he was charged earlier this year with
multiple counts of sexual abuse. According to prosecutors, three of his
four alleged female victims
were underage. Before his most recent arrest this week, the 52-year-old was out on bond. Kelly is now is scheduled to appear
in a New York City Federal court
at an unknown date. He is currently set to have a hearing regarding bail
next week. Kelly's arrest comes after the
Eastern District of New York revealed
a multi-count indictment against him. The Northern District of Illinois has also
returned indictments that include
over a dozen counts, one of which
involves child pornography. Kelly, who has also been charged with obstruction of justice, has denied
all accusations of sexual abuse.
