Muyhiddin: Koh-Amri task force may see additional non-Malay member

Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said there may be an additional non-Malay member on the special task force to probe the disappearance of pastor Raymond Koh and Perlis activist Amri Che Mat.

He said they have also chosen a replacement for former cop Mokhtar Mohd Noor, who withdrew from the task force on July 2.

“After (Mokhtar’s withdrawal), at the ministry level and at my level, we have already named a replacement and I think we can maybe add one more person aside from the replacement, and this person we may choose a non-Malay who I feel is more suitable to sit on the task force,” Muhyiddin said in a press conference after attending a Hari Raya open house at Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol) in Kuala Lumpur today.
