A Perfectly Imperfect Relationship - The Creation Of Us (S2:E2)

From the very first day that Heather and Christen physically bumped one another at a local bar on Long Island, these two women knew that there was something special between them. In this episode of The Creation Of Us, each shares some of the stories that have taken them from those first charged moments of a new relationship to a life where they share a home, 3 dogs, and a commute to an office where they literally work back to back in the same room!
The secret to the longevity in any relationship is what keeps two people together when the perfectly smooth bliss of the early days begins to crack under the normal stresses of day-to-day life. Will the relationship withstand that first stretch of rough road? Heather was the first to test their bond when she revealed that she had a serious drug habit on one of their first nights out together. After Heather pulled out drugs in a bathroom stall, Christen took a firm stand. “What are you doing?“ she asked. “If you could get rid of this, I could really love you.” Heather’s reaction was immediate – she flushed them and chose Christen. They had crossed their first hurdle together and intact.
Christen supported Heather through her recovery and slowly their lives began to converge. In a short time they moved in together, adopted 3 dogs and grew closer and closer.
Now these ladies invite you to share some of their most intimate moments in their “perfectly imperfect” relationship. Surprise proposals, anxious planning, and delicate dealings with opinionated families… all leading up to their special wedding day.
