President Trump wouldn’t say if he’d endorse Vice President Mike Pence in 2024.

President Trump declined to endorse Vice President Mike Pence for a 2024 presidential run.
During a Friday interview on "Fox & Friends," Trump was asked if Pence would have his "automatic endorsement," should he decide to run in 2024.
"You're talking about a long time," the president replied. "You can't put me in that position."
"But I certainly would give it very strong consideration," Trump added. "He's a very, very outstanding person."
According to Salon, "Pence, the former governor of Indiana, has not explicitly indicated he would launch a run for the Oval Office in 2024, although speculation has swirled about his future political ambitions."
Reactions to Trump's comment were mixed.
"Eventually, everyone gets thrown under the bus by Trump," wrote one Twitter user.
Someone else tweeted: "[Barack] Obama hasn't endorsed [Joe] Biden. It's standard to wait."
