How China’s nomadic herdsmen move their livestock in summer

As the season turns, herdsmen begin to move their livestock to summer pastures in Ar Horqin Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. More than 3,000 herdsmen will transfer about 500,000 heads of livestock this year. The rotation of pastures gives time for the grasslands to regrow, helping to protect the environment.
