India were convincingly beaten by New Zealand in their first warm-up match by 6 wickets. The Kiwis had chased down an ordinary 179 posted by India with 12.5 overs to spare, without breaking a sweat. They will be eager to get back into winning ways before the main tournament commences on May 30.On the other hand, Bangladesh are yet to have a taste of English pitches and conditions, as their first Warm-up game against Pakistan was washed out due to rain on May 26 (Sunday). The bad news for them is that their next match against India is also at the very same venue- Cardiff.
