Trump Faces Backlash For Tweeting 'Immature' Cartoon Of Comey, Brennan And Clapper
  • 5 years ago
President Trump took another jab at James Comey on Friday.

President Trump on Friday tweeted a cartoon showing former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former FBI Director James Comey pointing fingers at each other.
The tweet came a day after Trump supporter Rep. Matt Gaetz said during a Fox News interview that Comey, Clapper, and Brennan "are in jeopardy" in connection to Attorney General William Barr's probe into the claims that there was "spying" on the Trump campaign in 2016.
The three men have been among the most vocal Trump critics.
Brennan reacted to the president's cartoon tweet, writing: "Young people everywhere: Please do not emulate Mr. Trump's very immature behavior. Find others of honesty, integrity, & decency to be your role models. And always try to do what you know is the right thing, even when doing what is right is both unpopular & difficult."
Another Twitter user wrote: "I mean, please tell me it's a kid tweeting this and not the President of the United States."
