Tyson Increases Recall
of Chicken Strips by
Over 11 Million Pounds The move is due to
tiny fragments of metal
being found in the meat. The recalls were initiated after customers said the metal injured parts of
their mouths. In March, Tyson announced that
69,000 pounds
would be recalled
over the matter. They are now recalling another
11.8 million pounds. According to Fortune, the back of the affected bags has the number P-7221. The expiration dates start at
October 2019 and then
end in the following March. Tyson says anyone who has bought
the items should toss them away. If they haven't been opened, the
chicken strips can also be
returned to a grocery store.
