Shattered windows, roofs blown off as cyclone ravages Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Powerful winds from Cyclone Fani blew off roofs and shattered windows in Bhubaneswar, Odisha earlier today (May 3).

Footage shows a hostel window glass breaking and a roof being blown off a building.

Several parked cars can be seen swaying as strong winds rip through the streets further in the video.

At least two people were killed by falling trees in the India state of Odisha, agencies reported.

More than one million people have been evacuated to shelters along the coast.

Fani is currently moving north-northeast and is expected to weaken before approaching Bangladesh.
