President Trump posted a tweet about the NRA on Monday.
President Trump on Monday described the National Rifle Association as being "under siege" by New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo. "The NRA is under siege by Cuomo and the New York State A.G., who are illegally using the State's legal apparatus to take down and destroy this very important organization, & others," Trump wrote in a tweet. "It must get its act together quickly, stop the internal fighting, & get back to GREATNESS - FAST!" His comment follows reports that New York Attorney General Letitia James launched an investigation into the gun group. It also comes after an internal NRA dispute between the group's president, Oliver North, and its CEO Wayne LaPierre resulted in North's resignation.
