The India Meteorological Department early Monday warned that Cyclone Fani is very likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm over the next few hours. The storm will further intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm during the subsequent 24 hours.The sea condition is expected to be rough to very rough over the next few days along the coasts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and the fishermen have been advised not to venture into deep sea areas. ఆగ్నేయ బంగాళాఖాతంలో అల్పపీడనంగా ఏర్పడి, ఆపై వాయుగుండంగా, తుపానుగా మారిన 'ఫణి', ఇప్పుడు మరింత ఉద్ధృతమై సూపర్ సైక్లోన్ గా మారింది. ఇది ప్రస్తుతం మచిలీపట్నానికి 1,090 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరంలో కేంద్రీకృతమై, గంటకు 20 నుంచి 21 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో కదులుతోంది. అది తీరాన్ని తాకితే విధ్వంసం సృష్టిస్తుందని వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేస్తుంది. సూపర్ సైక్లోన్ తీరం తాకే వేళ గంటకు 160 నుండి 195 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో పెనుగాలులు వీస్తాయని వాతావరణ శాఖ హెచ్చరిస్తుంది.
