People gathered in Bogota last night (April 17) in an act of solidarity to denounce recent homophobia and discrimination.

Footage of the "besatón", or "kiss-a-thon", shows couples of all sexualities expressing their love for each other at a mall, where two gay men were censured for doing the same several days earlier.

The homophobic incident took place several days earlier in one of the most recognised shopping centres in Bogota, the Andean commercial centre.

Esteban Carrillo and Nicolas Tellez were the victims of this act of discrimination they were also present in the protest.
