Do we create our own stress? Dr. Jamil Sayegh on Today's Mental Wellness show hosted by Mark Weisenburger.

Yes, in many ways I think we can and do create our own stress. It may be as simple as hitting the snooze in the morning and now you are rushing to get ready for work and to get the kids off to school. However, that action itself could be caused by the microbiome in our gut. Our choices and decisions are stored in the gut based upon my understanding for the book "The Mind-Gut Connection". That is where the "gut feeling" comes from.

The microbiome plays a role in not only your mental wellness, be it stress, burnout, anxiety and depression. To learn more about the microbiome, the gut brain axis and the role it plays in your mental health, be it stress, anxiety or depression click this link now. http://0s4.com/r/FY05NW

You will also hear my story and struggles with stress, anxiety and depression. How I would stay in bed all day so I wouldn't have to face the world. You will also be given access to a free mental health assessment so you know exactly where your mental wellness is at. Want hear the full interview with Dr. Jamil?
