Congress P Chidambaram: India Has Capacity To Implement NYAY Scheme, Will Help 5cr Families

A day after Congress President Rahul Gandhi announced a minimum income guarantee for the poor, the man behind the NYAY scheme, former finance minister P. Chidambaram reveals roadmap of Congress Nyay Scheme. P Chidambaram in the press conference also takes a hit at the rival BJP saying, "PM Narendra Modi promised 15 lakhs to every person. Did anyone ask him for the maths? He said he will double the farm income but he didn't. Did anyone ask him for the math?"
P Chidambaram, Congress on minimum income guarantee scheme announced by Rahul Gandhi: We will identify the poorest 20% of India's families, that is about 5 Crore families & going by an average size of 5 members per family, this scheme will benefit 25 Crore people in India.
