The 2019 Indian Premier League season is a lot different from what it traditionally has been. A major change came in the 12th edition of the cash-rich franchise league when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided against organising an opening ceremony before the start of the first game of the season on March 23.The decision was taken in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack that shook the country on February 14.
