2019 Tony Awards The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards
have announced James Corden as the
host for their 73rd award show. Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President
at CBS Entertainment, believes Corden
is an excellent choice for the event. Jack Sussman, via statement Corden previously hosted the 70th Annual
Tony Awards in 2016, which had the
largest audience in 15 years. He also won the Emmy award for
outstanding special class program
for his work on the 2016 Tony Awards. James Corden, via statement Corden is currently the host
of ‘The Late Late Show’ on CBS. He’s no stranger to musical theater either,
having won a Tony Award in 2012 for his
performance in ‘One Man. Two Guvnors.’ The 2019 Tony Awards will be
broadcast live on Sunday, June 9,
from the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
