James Corden to Host the 2016 Tony Awards

James Corden has had an incredible year, and it's only getting better!
The Late Late Show host has landed another gig in 2016: the host of the 70th Annual Tony Awards!
With such a successful year with his late-night talk show, it's no surprise that he'd be chosen to lead such a star-studded night.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards," said Corden in a statement.
"Both times I've worked on Broadway have been amongst the happiest times of my professional life.
I consider it to be a huge honor to be asked to host such an incredible night.
It's going to be fun; I can't wait to dust off my tap shoes!"
The Tony Awards will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 12.
