Melania Trump remains the most popular Trump, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll.
First lady Melania Trump is still the most popular Trump family member, according to a recent Economist/YouGov Poll.
The survey of nearly 1,500 U.S. adults in early March found that 51 percent view her very favorably or somewhat favorably compared to 44 percent for President Trump, 44 percent for Ivanka Trump, 36 percent for Donald Trump Jr., 32 percent for Eric Trump, and 27 percent for Jared Kushner.
Melania also had the lowest unfavorable rating at 36 percent while her husband had the highest at 49 percent.
A YouGov press release notes: "Since mid-2017 favorable assessments of Mrs. Trump have increased nine points, while the share with unfavorable opinions has remained unchanged."
The statement goes on to point out that, not surprisingly, partisanship is a major factor in the poll outcome.
