The Central Election Commission is preparing for general elections. The final meeting of the Union Cabinet on today i.e March 7th is to be held and there is a possibility to take key decisions during the elections. the CEC might announce the schedule on Friday 8th after the meeting? if not the shedule will be announced on 10th. The Election Commission has completed the preparatory works for the lok sabha polls and also the four states assembly polls.
