With the Jat quota agitation in Haryana spreading across the region, many have turned to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to seek an end to the violent protests gripping the state.

Curfew has been imposed in towns like Rohtak and Bhiwani where this violent agitation has resulted in civilians getting injured. Holding a press conference on the matter, the BJP on Saturday pronounced their stance and further developments on this contentious situation.

In the BJP press conference, party representatives said that the BJP was not responsible for statements made against any particular caste. They reiterated that they believed in taking all castes together.
