Jat Quota Row: Haryana DGP addresses press conference says we are trying to hard to control violence

The situation in Haryana remains tense after Jats' agitation for job reservation entered 6th day.The protests turned violent after some anti-social elements set at least five motorcycles on fire. 1 person was killed and 19 injured in police firing in Rohtak. Section 144 has been imposed in several areas near Rohtak and mobile services have also been suspended in the area. CM Manohar Lal Khattar also convened an all party meet today and appealed for calm, promising that the govt was committed to the cause of Jats.
